As part of the South Australian Government’s $326 million Digital Investment Fund, the Office for Artificial Intelligence (Office for AI) is enabling government agencies to access funding and expert support for trialling repeatable artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Through the AI Proof of Value program, agencies can pilot innovative projects that improve service delivery, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making.

Our role includes:

  • Facilitating access to funding for projects with potential for broad impact
  • Providing guidance and resources to help agencies design and implement effective AI trials
  • Connecting agencies with expert advice and best practice approaches
  • Supporting the evaluation and scaling of successful solutions across government

By championing the AI Proof of Value program, the Office for AI helps agencies unlock the benefits of AI, and understand what works where so that it can be more easily applied across the public sector.

Templates for AI Proof of Value Program, including the respective application processes, is available on the OAI Extranet (external site) (external site) (external site) (external site) (external site).

Please note that access is restricted to South Australian government agencies and staff. If you attempting to access without an @sa.gov.au email address (such as personnel from Statutory Bodies) you will need to contact AI@sa.gov.au for relevant information.
